Community Committee

This historic agreement was signed by Kwanahi inlį Bob Dickson, Dän nätthe äda Elizabeth Johnson, Dän nätthe äda Bertha Doris and FNSB Chair Dana Tizya-Tramm.

Community Committee agreements are flexible to change, adapt, and grow in time. They outline which powers of the Education Act are shared between the Community Committee and the school board.

Community Committees empower the community to guide its own school.

The Kêts'ádań Kų̀ Community Committee is the governing body for the Kluane Lake School. They share authorities and responsibilities over the management and operation of the school with the First Nation School Board.
